We are the Williams’ Family.
This blog is our story which is constantly evolving. Our names are Phil and Amy and we have 5 amazing children. Their names are Luke, Eden, Elijah, Aaron, and Miriam (whom we adopted from China). That is one of the reasons we decided to create this blog and share our story. We will be guarded with what we share, in order to protect the privacy of our adoption. Friends and family will be granted access to protected content, but we will share openly the things that we can about the adoption as well as many stories related to our family.
You may be wondering who we are and what we are about. Well, those who know us best, know that we are a fanatical martial arts family. We began our martial arts journey a few years ago and we believe that the foundations of respect, dedication, humility, and self control are essential to building a strong family and producing amazing children who are becoming young men and women. I hesitate to list the ages of our children because that information changes so regularly, but I will say that we are the proud parents of an adult, teens, and younger children. We stay busy with our martial arts training, sport karate competitions and traditional competitions, and church.
We hope you enjoy the stories we share as we journey through life together and invite you to participate in conversation and to share your own stories. We believe that family is important and that family is more than flesh and blood. Family is a bond that holds us together and it is wrapped in love and mutual respect. So, we consider many of you our family and we thank you for investing in our lives as we invest in yours.
*Note – We are currently working through our next adoption. We cannot share specifics at this time, but we are making our way through the documentation phase.
